Join us as we travel through the seasons, exploring the rituals and customs that rooted our ancestors to Nature and the plants that sustained them.
We will always have a foraging walk where we meet and greet our green friends. We shall then sit down to a wild meal, either picnic style or cooked over the fire, depending on the season. You will take away some plants to wildcraft with at home, along with some instructions, or we may use our finds to craft something together on the day, such as a wild tea, a tasty snack, some Nature art, a herbal remedy or some cordage.
Private sessions can be tailored to your specific needs.
During our session you will learn;
How to forage for wild food, medicine and wild crafting materials safely and sustainably
Foraging and the law
About how to identify a wide variety of wild plants
About how to make wild teas, infusions and tinctures
How to connect with the Earth on a deeper, more meaningful level

Notes
The walk will be slow paced but uphill in some areas and maybe over fields, through woodland and along muddy paths. Please wear sturdy shoes or boots and we highly recommend keeping your legs covered to protect against Nettles, jaggy Brambles and most importantly Ticks.
A waterproof jacket and trousers are also highly recommended. This will enable you to sit down to enjoy your food if the ground is wet, which it frequently is up here in Scotland!
You may want to bring along something to put some foraged finds into and perhaps a notebook and camera to record what you find. You will receive an email afterwards detailing all of the plants we meet.
Please bring along water and any snacks you may want in addition to the food served after our walk.
Please make sure you bring along a cup, plate, bowl and cutlery for your meal.
Please note, we will not be providing food for children under 5 years of age and the food and drink served on the day will be the same for adults and children alike.
