Seaweed Safari

Seaweed Safari: A Hands On Foraging Experience, Sunday 2nd of March, 2025

Join Vicky and fellow Association of Foragers member, Lucy Cooke, as we taste our way through the tidal zones, for an afternoon of vitamin SEA, with  delicious coastal wild tasters to finish.

During our session you will learn;

How to forage for wild seaweeds safely and sustainably

Foraging and the law

About how to identify a wide variety of seaweeds

About how to incorporate wild seaweeds into your diet

About how to make wild teas, infusions and tinctures

How to connect with the Earth on a deeper, more meaningful level

What to bring:

A notebook and phone to take photos but don’t worry too much about taking notes as you’ll get a follow-up email covering everything after the event.

Wellies are essential.  We will be walking through water at times and scrabbling over rocks so you need to make sure your feet are protected.

Water proof jacket and lots of layers.
